The INITIATE! Project is an initiative to increase environmental awareness and encourage positive environmental practices in the Faculty of Science through the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) of paper usage in the faculty’s teaching, research and administrative activities. The project is a part of the faculty’s long term vision to encourage interdisciplinary cooperation in environmental projects between different departments in the Faculty of Science.
The INITIATE! Project will be spearheaded by a special committee comprising of academics, students and support staff from each department of the faculty (i.e. ISB, Chemistry, Physics, Math, Geology and S&T) with strong backing from the Dean’s office.
